Ancient City of Sri Thep Located in Sri Thep District, Phetchabun Province, it served as a crucial hub for the exchange of goods, trade routes, and culture between the Central and Northeastern regions of Thailand from the late prehistoric period to the ancient Khmer period (8th-18th centuries). Archaeological evidence and artwork found at the site indicate that the ancient city received cultural influences from India, Khmer, and other Dvaravati cultural centers, leading to its prosperity.
